Sales pros will leave energized and informed about the building science and the real benefits of green building best practices and the rationale behind comparing homes using a third party certification system.
Michael Chandler has been building solar and green homes for over thirty years, first as co-founder of Space Builders Inc, an employee-owned designbuild firm in Carrboro, NC, and since 1987 as president of Chandler Design-Build Inc. Michael has also worked with the Home Builders of Durham, Orange, and Chatham to get their Green Building Council up and running and to implement the NAHB Green Building Guidelines and organize a credible third party certification standard. In addition to serving on the executive committee he chairs the education committee and speaks frequently to builders, Realtors, and the public on green building and the NAHB-GBI certification process.
