What is The Raleigh Comprehensive Plan and How Does it Affect You and Your Clients?

Ken Bower, AICP, City of Raleigh Deputy Planning Director

Forecasts predict that the City of Raleigh will grow by over 200,000 residents from 2000-2025. Do you know what plans exist for urban “villages,” transportation corridors and economic development. Know how to access the plan to answer your client’s questions. No matter where you live and work in the Triangle, this topic will give you new perspective on the future of our region.

For more information on joining the Raleigh Women's Council of Realtors, please visit www.RaleighWCR.org. Members attend meetings for free, guests are $5.

THE MISSION OF THE WOMEN'S COUNCIL OF REALTORS®: WE ARE A NETWORK OF SUCCESSFUL REALTORS EMPOWERING WOMEN TO EXERCISE THEIR POTENTIAL AS ENTREPRENEURS AND INDUSTRY LEADERS.

This is going to be a very informative presentation by Mr. Bower, Planning Director of the City of Raleigh. What are in the works for Raleigh's future growth. What choices of transportation will the Triangle offer. Will we have a train system or are we bound to traverse congested freeways? I am looking forward to hearing about the city's future plans - see you there!
